The deadline for submitting an on-time application for September 2026 entry was 31st January 2026.  We have now processed all on-time applications and are preparing for the aptitude workshop assessments for w/c 23rd February 2026.

October 2026 open events:

• Year 10 Open Evening (for students who wish to join BOA in September 2027 for their Key Stage 4 education) - Tuesday 13th October 2026 from 5.30pm to 8.30pm
• Year 12 Open Evening (for students who wish to join BOA in September 2027 for their Post-16 education) - Thursday 15th October 2026 from 5.30pm to 8.30pm

The Principal's Presentation: 

Tuesday 13th October at 5.45pm / 6.25pm / 7.05pm / 7.45pm

Thursday 15th October at 5.45pm / 6.25pm / 7.05pm / 7.45pm

IMPORTANT: Should you wish to attend the Principal's Presentation at 7.45pm, please aim to tour the academy ahead of the presentation as the open event finishes at 8.30pm.

January 2027 open events:

• Year 10 & Year 12 Open Evening (for students who wish to join BOA in September 2027 for their Key Stage 4 education or their Post-16 education) - Thursday 14th January 2027 from 5.30pm to 8.30pm

The Principal's Presentation: 

Thursday 14th January at 5.40pm / 6.30pm / 7.20pm

IMPORTANT: Should you wish to attend the Principal's Presentation at 7.20pm, please aim to tour the academy ahead of the presentation as the open event finishes at 8.30pm.
