Art Technician (Term-time only)
We are delighted to offer this exciting opportunity to join our fantastic academy as an Art & Textiles Technician. We are looking to appoint somebody with previous Art Technician skills who has ideally worked in a secondary school. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in Art and/or Textiles with a strong creative background.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist in the organisation and presentation of the Art and Textiles Rooms.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment at all times.
- Provide support and assistance to the classroom teacher during practical lessons.
- Work on your own initiative as well as a member of a team.
- Plan and prioritise your work effectively.
- To attend and participate in relevant meetings as required.
- Assist with the supervision of students during practical sessions, offering your support and expertise
- On occasion, to act as cover supervisor (if required).

Annual Salary:
- Full-time equivalent: £24,404 (SSP4) to £25,992 (SSP8)
- Term-time only (actual): £21,248 (SSP4) to £22,631 (SSP8)
- Full-time or part-time considered
