What are the options for progression after BOA?

There is an exciting and diverse range of progression routes for BOA students. Upon completion of their studies at BOA, students have the opportunity to progress onto Higher Education at University or Vocational Schools, Employment, Apprenticeships or to develop their skills further through a gap year.

What support is available?

At BOA, we aim to support students in making important choices for their future and provide Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance through a range of mediums.

All students have the opportunity to:

  • Meet for a 1-2-1 meeting with a qualified careers advisor.
  • Attend the Futures Information Evening

(An event for parents and students to receive further information to provide advice and guidance on the options available after BOA. Representatives from HE and Apprenticeship providers)

  • Receive valuable information and guidance through presentations delivered at appropriate points throughout their time at BOA. (E.g. UCAS, Personal Statements & CV Writing, Student Finance)
  • Work with professionals in the creative industries and receive support seeking valuable work experience opportunities.
