Birmingham Ormiston Academy is an independent state-funded 14-19 academy specialising in Creative, Digital and Performing Arts.
Birmingham Ormiston Academy is committed to providing high quality and distinctive education through a specialist curriculum delivered in outstanding facilities.
Exam results at BOA have been consistently excellent and have improved every year.
This summer at Key Stage 4, our students achieved on average a D*D (Distinction Star, Distinction) grade in their pathway, which is equivalent to an A* at GCSE, a massive 94% achieved a Standard Pass (4/C) or better in English, 85% achieved a Standard Pass or better in maths, and 79% left with at least 5 standard GCSE passes including English and Maths!
At Post-16 this year, the average grade on our pathways was D*D*D (Double Distinction Star Distinction), and the average points scored across all post-16 qualifications was 870, equivalent to A*AA at A-Level.
Another brilliant year at BOA.
