WHAT IS THE APTITUDE WORKSHOP AND GROUP DISCUSSION?
If your application form is successful, you will be invited to a practical aptitude workshop and group discussion. Aptitude workshops will take place during the week commencing 22nd February 2021. For most pathways, they will consist of one day’s attendance at the Academy.
Applicants are considered on the basis of aptitude in their chosen pathway and the criteria laid down in the admissions policy. Aptitude will be demonstrated via a series of pathway-specific tasks on which applicants will be evaluated and scored. Please note that details of these tasks cannot be provided ahead of the workshops, so as to ensure fairness to all who participate.
The group discussion will be a chance for you to show your knowledge of your chosen pathway, ask questions, discuss your inspirations and aspirations, and clarify options. The discussion will not form part of the aptitude evaluation and you will not be scored on it.
WHEN WILL OFFERS BE ANNOUNCED?
Confirmation of places will follow in April. All students who attended the aptitude workshops will receive a letter through the post advising whether they have been successful or not.
Are students required to wear a Uniform?

Students must wear their BOA uniform at all times in the academy. Further information can be found at: https://www.boa-academy.co.uk/page/?title=School+Uniform&pid=1072
