New York City Trip 2017
Due to the success of this year’s trip to New York City, BOA are looking to take another 64 students on a once in a life time visit. This is open to students on all pathways who will be in years 12 and 13 at the start of the September 2016/17 academic year. The trip will take place in February 2017, with the group travelling out on Monday 20th February and returning Thursday 23rd February. The 3-night stay in a central Manhattan hotel will include a hearty breakfast each day to set the students up for busy days ahead.
The trip will incorporate educational workshops run by Broadway professionals, a tour of Radio City Music Hall and the Lincoln Centre for Performing Arts, a visit to Central Park Zoo and the Ground Zero Memorial, a chance to see the city from the top of the Empire State Building and by boat on a visit to Staten Island and the Statue of Liberty. The trip will be full of exciting opportunities for the students and we hope they will come away with memories that last a lifetime.
There are 64 places available on the trip and places will be randomly selected after the deadline on Monday 12th September, once all deposits and reply slips have been returned. Students who fall behind in their studies or do not maintain a suitable level of attendance may be replaced on the trip by those on the reserve list.
